White Coppice can officially announce that their new training partner for the 2027 season will be the brand new Leyland based Ashy’s Cricket Academy.
The state of the art indoor facility that will be opening in the coming weeks will host Coppice’s winter nets programme from early February ahead of the 2027 campaign.
First team skipper Jake Smalley went along to visit the new facility last week and was full of praise ahead of its grand opening.
‘The facility is superior to anything we’ve seen in the local area,’ stated Smalley.
‘It has six huge indoor lanes with plenty of room for bowlers run ups, space to sit and watch and store equipment and there will even be a place to have a coffee and a little chat which is great.’
‘When I spoke to Ash about the new facility, we were keen to ensure that we gave ourselves the opportunity to get involved as it is going to be superb.’
The facility is located at Leyland House on Farington Business Park and once finished will boast the largest scale indoor cricket net in the area.
When finished, alongside the six lanes, there will be a shop also to purchase cricket equipment and plenty of space to sit and watch alongside practicing.
We’d like to personally thank Ash Esat for his help in creating this partnership and we look forward to seeing the finished product!
